Andrews just opened their field this year. They have one airball and one woodsball field. The airball field is probably a 5-on-5 field, maybe push it to 7-on-7. Unfortunately they used lightweight poles to mount the netting, so if the wind is anywhere above 20mph they don't run airball games.
The woodsball field is pretty nice, with a variety of bunkers, although the field is set up in a very face-to-face way, so that the bunkers are really only useful in one direction.
The place is very overstaffed, and has a rather tedious registration process. The refs are friendly, and will join in games if there aren't enough players there to make for a good game. They rent Tippy Custom 98s and steel compressed air tanks. Admission is $10, $12 with all-day air. Paint starts at $42 a case, or $13 a bag. This is a great field to bring newbies to, as it is small and the refs will work with you so your group has fun. Unfortunately, they get very small crowds, probably due in no small part to the fact that only military members can bring guests onto the base to play (different from Ft Detrick, where you can play w/o a sponsor).
They are open 11-5 weekends, and play starts at 12. They are open for private groups all week. No private groups on weekends.
When we played it was a mix of young kids (think Dade's boyz) and more experienced players, so we split up each to make the teams a better match. All in all, it's a nice, relaxing day of paintball, but won't be satisfying for those looking for Warplay or Pev's level intensity, unless you have your own group of players.
